What you’ll learn in this episode
Root cause medicine is one of the most effective approaches to reversing and managing PCOS. It focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying causes behind the hormone imbalance, taking a comprehensive, multifaceted approach that incorporates physical, mental, emotional, and environmental factors.
What Your Body Needs
At its core, root cause medicine involves cultivating awareness of your body’s needs and making lifestyle changes to support optimal health. This means paying attention to what you eat, how well you sleep, your mental state, the relationships in your life, your level of activity and movement, and so much more. By learning more about yourself and creating a positive environment that supports your health goals, you can take control over PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) or any other conditions that may be impacting your wellbeing.
Environmental Bubble
What is your environment bubble? It is everything that you encounter in your day to day life:
- Food you eat
- Sleep
- Mental health
- Calm or chaotic
- Relationships, friends, family, work and yourself
- Movement
- Clean non-toxic living – all around
Embrace health
Whether you are just starting out on your journey towards root cause healing or want to refine already established habits and routines in order to achieve better results, there are many things you can do to get started. One great place to start is with a simple online quiz that helps you identify key areas where improvement may be needed. With this knowledge at hand, you can then take concrete steps towards embracing a healthy lifestyle that truly supports all aspects of who you are.
So do you have your listening ears on? Good — now go listen to this episode so you can feel more confident as you create an environment of healing for your body.
