A PCOS Diagnosis Isn’t Enough
Did anyone ever ask WHY your body was struggling when they gave you the PCOS Diagnosis?
To discover your PCOS root cause we need to start by asking why! Why are you having period problems, infertility, and weight gain? Why?
Doctors seek to label your collection of symptoms with a diagnosis. This leads them to medications and procedural options to address unwanted symptoms. The problem is those medications don’t treat the root of the issue.
Well, in this video we’re going to look at the difference between being labeled with a diagnosis and getting a full PCOS workup. Let’s dive in so you can start discovering the root cause of your PCOS.

A significant PCOS struggle I have seen a lot is getting a diagnosis, but not a full, proper workup.
Doctors seek to lump your symptoms and tests into a diagnosis so they can move on to offering you the treatment options they provide.
Your fertility hormones, the hormones that regulate your periods, and are responsible for good or poor fertility.
Your PCOS hormones and your reproductive hormones are at the tippy, tippy top of the hormone pyramid. There are a lot of stages where things can go wrong beneath your PCOS hormones.
In a proper workup, we look at each one of those symptoms and dig into what they are telling us. But we also want to get more labs to help us know what you can do to care for your body and fix the problem.
Back up a little bit and ask why? Why are you having irregular cycles? Why are you having anovulatory or non-conceivable cycles? Why are you dealing with recurrent miscarriages? It really comes down to the why are your hormones off?
Ultimately, after a few months of making some changes, the women I work with see their periods return to normal, ovulation occurs as expected and many get their positive pregnancy test within 3-5 months.
This link will take you to a short video series where you learn how to become your own advocate and navigate this kind of crazy diagnosis to full workup and then make your own choices of what the best treatment options and management of your PCOS, fertility, and hormone repair.
